This week we get a very balanced assortment: Both tours give us a 250 and a
500. All on clay, naturally, but not all outdoors. There were some
withdrawals, but overall the top players start showing up. Very probably all
venues will be without crowds, which is sad, but Europe is not in a good
shape regarding C19, so it's understandable.
I'm gonna start with the ladies.

WTA 500 on clay, indoor. Venue is The Porsche Arena. 28 players in the draw.
The lucky with the byes are Barty, Halep, Kenin and Svitolina.
The unfortunate without byes are Sabalenka, Pliskova, Kvitova and
Bencic. Who else is there?
Siegemund v Barthel, Ostapenko, Kerber, Sakkari v Petkovic, Brady,
Kontaveit, Alexandrova v Mouchova, Bouzkova v Vondrousova. Yep. It is stacked! Winner gets a Porsche. Porsche. Also to note, 8 out of 28 are Germans, lotsa WC and Q. Porsche.

WTA 250, clay, outdoor. Well, the cream is in Germany, but there are plenty
of good players here too! It's a full draw of 32, so no byes. The eight
seeds are
Mertens, Martic, Kudermetova, Kasatkina, Krejcikova, Pavlyuchenkova,
Zheng, Wang(Q). Told you, ain't bad at all! And to fill the draw we also have
Siniakova, Mladenovic, Pera, Diyas v Kanepi, Hibino v Bogdan, Buyukakcay,
Konjuh v Errani, Cîrstea, Hercog, Ferro.

here they all are:
Nadal, The Tsi, Rublev, Schwartzman, RBA, PCB, The Shap, Goffin, Fognini,
FAA, Sinner, The Khach, Garin, De Minaur, Evans
and Mannarino who got lucky that Ruud is out. Lotsa tough
guys. And the others in the draw are too:
Nishikori, Norrie, Herbert, The Tiaf, Gasquet, Simon, Tsonga, ARV v
Holger Vitus Nodskov Rune, Paire, Chardy v Basilashvili, Lopez v Musetti,

have byes:
Djokovic, Berrettini, Karatsev and Lajovic. Krajinovic, Millman, Kecmanovic
and lucky Djere who replaced unlucky Fucsovics are the ones without byes. A lot of
vics already but just wait for the other Serbs!
Korda, Petrovic, Cuevas v 4U, Milojevic, Troicki v Cecchinato and there's another Serb that might get here from qualies. If he does, 8 out of 28 are Serbs!
