Good Bye Australia!

ATP Rotterdam, Buenos Aires; WTA Doha, Lyon

We're no more Down Under. Wich means we're back to normal bubbles and quarantines and more risks for the players, because, let's face it, C19 is still going strong. So both tours have a 500 and a 250, very nicely balanced. Gonna start with the ladies.

Qatar Total Open

Almost went again with the insane Doha skyscrapers! Camels and dunes

WTA 500 outdoor, HC. It started very strong but a whole bunch of top tenners withdrew. So we have a 28 draw, with the top four seeds getting byes: Svitolina, Pliskova, Sabalenka and Kvitova. Bertens (remember her?), Bencic, Brady and Azarenka complete the seeds list. It's good, right? Now onto the other notables: Anisimova, Rybakina, Kuznetsova, Kudermetova v Muguruza, Sakkari, Keys, Kontaveit, Kerber, Pavlyuchenkova, Ostapenko, Wang, Jabeur. Jeez, feels like I named all 28! Basically everyone from the 2nd echelon is here.

OOP
Petra Kvitova

Open 6ème Sens Métropole de Lyon

Le cube orange

WTA 250 indoor, HC. Top seed is #33 Alexandrova, so yeah, this is weak sauce compared to Doha. It's a draw of 32 players, no byes. The other seven seeds are Ferro, Garcia, Mladenovic, Cornet, Cirstea, Badosa, Rus. It's like we're in France or something! Now let's see the filler: Babos, Giorgi, Buzarnescu, Gasparyan, Bara, Sasnovich v Bouchard. Strong Romanian contingent too!

OOP
Clara Tauson

Onto the gentlemen.

ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament, Rotterdam

Markthal - I'm sure I used this before!

ATP 500 indoor HC. 32 draw, so no byes. The eight seeds are Medvedev, The Tsi, Zverev, Rublev, RBA, Goffin, FAA, The Man. Let's check now the rest of the field: Coric v Van de Zandschulp, De Minaur, Nishikori, Struff, Humbert, Murray, The Khach, Norrie, Hurkacz, Mannarino. Ain't bad at all!

OOP
Andrey Rublev

Argentina Open, Buenos Aires

Torre Monumental (formerly known as Torre de los Ingleses, and then Falklands happened...)

ATP 250 on clay, outdoor. It's the second stop in the Golden Swing. 28 draw, so top four seeds have byes: Schwartzman, Garin, Paire and Kecmanovic. The other four seeds are ARV, Andujar, Djere and The Tiaf. Others in Argentina: Delbonis, Cecchinato, Coria, Sousa. Yeah...

OOP
Diego Schwartzman

C19 still is a thing, awful and shit so the coda will stay:
