This is the 35th edition of the tournament. Americans have won 9 of the 11 last tourneys.

Most titles: John Isner with 6, a 3-peat in 2015, and wins in 2017, 2018 and 2021. Perhaps this should be called the John Isner Invitational!

Some good news is that Kei Nishikori will play, after slowly working his way back by playing Challengers.

On July 23 there will be an exhibition match between Coco Gauff and Leylah Fernandez.
