No IW. Yes Covid-19.

ATP, WTA Indian Wells

Well, not much to say, Indian Wells is suspended
(some say postponed for a later date) and this is the bastard that is to blame:
Hello! My name is Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2. But you can call me SARS-CoV-2. Wanna be my friend?
There's a lot of talk about what will happen with the rankings if this extends to other tournaments (and it looks like it will). Players are now in limbo, the top 100 maybe can take the forced hiatus in stride, but if we'll see a lot of cancellations in the lower tier of tournaments there will be a lot of players who won't make ends meet.
Feel free to talk whatever you want these two weeks (not that it wasn't like that before) but let's try to stay positive and grounded in facts not crazy speculations as far as this coronavirus stuff goes.
This is the live update site that I use with statistics about it:

Live and up to date stats about coronavirus
Another site with up to date stats
Daily youtube update with the scientific side of the fight against covid-19 , explained in pretty intelligible terms. (That links to a playlist, just click on the freshest clip. Or you know... get really into it from the beginning.)
